Motorcycles were another major part of Greg’s life. His passion for riding took him to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and, for three decades, to the Tomahawk Fall Ride.

He was a devoted member of the Free Spirit Motorcycle Club until its final days and treasured the friendships and memories he made through the club and the motorcycle community.

Greg also loved music, singing, dancing, and simply having a good time. He was particularly fond of Elvis Presley and could sing many of his favorite songs from memory.

Weekends with his Coffee Clutch were another source of enjoyment, providing opportunities for stories, laughter, friendship, and, as his family remembered, probably a little trouble.

Greg is survived by his mother, Lulumae; his life partner of 29 years, Juleen Brecke; seven children, Allen Blume and Jan Raasch, Amanda and Brian Pupp, Andrea and Michael Gray, Dustin and Leslie Blume, Dennis Patterson Jr. and Miranda, Aileena Patterson and Brad, and Myron Patterson and Laura.

He also leaves behind 23 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and five siblings: Faye Neubaur and Jeff, Jeffery and Loretta Blume, Diana and Jim Yaron, Scott Blume, and Lisa Blume.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leander Blume.
